A company in Oak Ridge is looking to hire more than 150 new employees as part of an expansion of its customer care facility.

Sitel, a business process outsourcing company that is majority-owned by Canada's Onex Corp., said in a news release that a leading financial company has outsourced its inbound customer support services for auto insurance to Sitel. The company plans to hire licensed insurance associates, with bonuses available for Property and Casualty licensed applicants.

"Despite the economic challenges, Sitel's Oak Ridge facility continues to thrive," John Miller, site director of Sitel, said in the release. "The growth of this location is a testament to the highly-skilled workforce in Oak Ridge and the success of our existing agents that are providing exceptional service to our clients and their customers."
