Blackberry Farm's sister resort Blackberry Mountain to open in February

Walland-based luxury resort Blackberry Mountain will open Feb. 15, according to a news release. 

The wellness-tourism property is owned and operated by Blackberry Farm proprietor Mary Celeste Beall.

About 7 miles from Blackberry Farm and 30 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport, Blackberry Mountain resort sits on 5,200 acres of land in East Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains.

About 2,800 acres on the mountain have been dedicated for conservation.

The resort will include amenities like a fitness camp, spa treatments, meditation, tree climbing, fly fishing, mountain biking, aerial yoga, hiking on 20 miles of private trails, camping, foraging and more.
