GOVERNOR LEE ANNOUNCES $200M IN GRANTS TO SUPPORT LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

Governor Bill Lee announced $200 million in grants for counties and cities across Tennessee, designed to ease the financial burden of COVID-19 on local governments.

The grants may be used for road projects, IT upgrades, capital maintenance as well as one-time expenses related to their COVID-19 response.

Applications open April 30, and funding will be based on population. Each county will receive at least $500,000, and each city or municipality will receive at least $30,000.
