Allegiant announces nonstop flight from Knoxville to Boston

While pandemic has forced some airlines to pull back, Allegiant began service Wednesday from Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport to Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts.

“Allegiant Air continues to invest in McGhee Tyson Airport, providing much-needed nonstop air service to popular destinations such as Boston,” said Eddie Mannis, chairman of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners.

Allegiant is a discount carrier that focuses on cheap flights between smaller cities and vacation destinations.

Flights are offered on limited basis each week.

To celebrate the new route, the company is offering round-trip fares on the new route as low as $43 each way on certain flights and dates. Because Allegiant is a discount airline, baggage charges and restrictions may apply. Details are available at allegiant.com.

Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at allegiant.com.
